Overview

Smile Brands, a three-time Glassdoor Best Place to Work, is seeking an Enterprise Applications Support Specialist to join our growing team! This position is responsible for providing support and direction to offices in regards to their Practice Management Software and other related software applications. This role provides support for internal customers utilizing our enterprise applications and interacting with internal customers via telephone and/or requests submitted via the Help Desk ticketing system, working to resolve or escalate issues to the appropriate IT support teams. The Enterprise Applications Support Specialist position may also facilitate communication between SBI (and its affiliates) and software vendors regarding performance issues, enhancements, testing and other needs as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides Practice Management support to the organization, to include the individual practices
  • Responds to user requests via support tickets or over the phone, for service and determines nature and extent of support needed
  • Provides technical support in diagnosing and solving problems by remote access; responding to help desk trouble tickets according to urgency and priority levels
  • Uses the help desk ticket system to track and close all client/user calls/problems reported also provides reporting on root cause issues and potential solutions
  • Maintains and updates the Practice Management and Enterprise Applications Software as needed
  • Stays current with systems information, changes and updates
  • Conducts new version testing and roll out plan for upgrades
  • Builds and maintains positive working relationships with co-workers and employees at all levels of the organization
  • Provides the highest level of customer service to all levels of the organization
  • Will be expected to perform any and all related duties as assigned by director

Responsibilities

What We Need From You

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments, maintain effective processes, and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of basic principles and practices of dental practice management software systems, Dental Vision, QSI & Dentrix systems preferred
  • High school diploma and a minimum of 3-5 years of customer service, help desk, or related experience
  • Dental office experience preferred but not required
  • Minimal travel may be required
