Overview

Smile Brands, a three-time Glassdoor Best Place to Work, is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join our team! We are seeking a highly motivated team member to join our department. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced, customer service environment and have excellent communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Promote company culture by providing excellent customer service: interact with customers, teams, field staff, etc.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns with quick and reasonable decisions to defuse the situation, while follow proper procedures and approvals
  • Provide active training and feedback resulting in professional and performance development of the staff.
  • Conduct outbound and inbound calls
  • Understand and explain patient account status and activity.
  • Meeting daily expectations to ensure goals and business needs are met
  • Negotiate and secure payments from customers in an effort to resolve and prevent past due balances.
  • Assist management with business improvement and development, as needed.
