Overview

The Recruiting & Immigration Coordinator plays an important role within Smile Brands Talent Acquisition team. This role provides support to our Recruiting team members in various aspects. This role requires extensive interaction with recruiters, hiring managers, candidates, and immigration attorneys. The Recruiting & Immigration Coordinator will contribute to the overall success of the Recruiting Team by providing a high level of customer service and quality throughout the recruiting process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Prepare, create, place and manage job postings, assemble recruitment materials, complete background checks

•Generate weekly, monthly, and annual recruiting reports

•Work with ATS (Applicant Tracking System) to post jobs, generate reports, track candidates, etc.

•Support the development and maintenance of existing recruitment tools and resources

•Maintain monthly expense reporting; travel, recruitment expenses, one-time new store against budget.

•Organize travel and interview arrangements for both recruiter and candidates as needed.

•Assist on special projects as directed.

•Support the review and screening of candidate resumes for specific job requirements and forward to the hiring manager

•Assist in managing day-to-day activities for immigration cases, including new sponsorships, renewals, green card, employment verification letters, etc., and help ensure processes are followed with accuracy and in a timely manner with outside legal counsel.

•Maintain immigration-related documentation and correspondence and reports and track expiration dates to verify I-9s.

•Provide status updates to employees and leaders regarding immigration cases.

•Assist with immigration-related projects

Responsibilities

What We Need From You

•Human Resources or related work experience is required.

•Expert MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Photoshop) required. Ability to create and data mine details to formulate reporting as needed with formulas, pivot tables, etc.

•Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.

•Experience with an Applicant Tracking System preferred

•Expert-level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability, and attention to detail and confidentiality are equally important.

•Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and in a timely manner.

•Ability to prioritize and organize assignments to meet deadlines.

•Excellent file maintenance and organizational skills.

•Ability to effectively work independently and with others to support strong team development.

•Understanding of current immigration laws and regulations, along with previous processing experience is preferred, but not required.
