Dr. Jason Genta

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF CLINICAL OPERATIONS

Dr. Jason Genta serves as Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations at Smile Brands, where he leads clinical strategy across nearly 600 dental practices nationwide. In this role, he oversees clinical standards, education, and strategic clinical initiatives, with a focus on advancing quality of care, accelerating innovation, and creating an environment where doctors and hygienists can thrive.

Dr. Genta earned his D.D.S. from Creighton University and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at UCLA. He began his career as a practicing dentist with DecisionOne Dental Partners and quickly expanded into clinical leadership, ultimately serving as Vice President of Clinical Affairs. As a member of the leadership team, he played an integral role in scaling DecisionOne from two practices to 36 before he joined Smile Brands in 2019.

Driven by a belief that the future of dentistry requires leaders who can bridge clinical excellence with business strategy, Dr. Genta earned his MBA in 2022. He joined the Smile Brands Clinical Team in 2023 and has since helped shape the organization’s clinical strategy, leading the advancement and adoption of new technologies, procedures, products, and clinical programs across the enterprise.

Throughout his career, Dr. Genta has remained focused on elevating both the patient and provider experience. He is passionate about developing clinicians, fostering a strong doctor-led culture, and leveraging technology and innovation to improve care. His leadership philosophy centers on empowering doctors and hygienists with the tools, education, and support they need to elevate the standard of care they provide.
