CHIEF EXPERIENCE OFFICER
Matt Hall joined Smile Brands in 2022 as Chief Experience Officer. He leads the company’s intentional efforts around continually improving all users’ and patients’ experiences to help deliver Smiles for Everyone. He and his team work to bridge the needs of patients, providers, practice teams, support team members, and the business with technological and experiential solutions that best fit their needs. They partner across the organization to implement programs, platforms, and digital transformation that ultimately improve the delivery of oral healthcare from our team members to our patients.
Matt has 20+ years of healthcare and healthcare tech experience. He’s passionate about building world-class teams and loves growing, scaling, and improving companies in multiple phases of their growth. From startups to billion-dollar companies, his expertise includes operations, digital transformation, product development, business strategy, and marketing. As the top Marketing Executive at another large DSO, he helped grow the company from $40MM to $1.5B in revenue and from 30 locations to over 800. On the other end of the business spectrum, he also launched and successfully grew the healthcare startup Wellfit as President & COO for 3 years in the InsureTech/FinTech space. He was recently Chief Marketing & Growth Officer for West Dermatology, where in just under 2 years he doubled the size of the company.
Matt competed on a world-class level in triathlon, captained his college soccer team, and remains active athletically as well as educationally (i.e. MBA, Exec Ed at Stanford, Higher Ambition Leadership Institute). Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his family on the sports fields, at church, or adventuring anywhere on the planet.
