CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER

Mesale Solomon-Mendes serves as Chief Human Resources Officer for Smile brands and is a member of the company’s executive management team. In this role, Mesale leads a team of committed human resources professionals who drive the company’s vision of Smiles for Everyone.

A twenty-year veteran, Mesale has held various HR leadership roles in a diverse set of industries including manufacturing, beer brewing, rental car, and insurance. In her role as CHRO, she is focused on leading a function to drive innovative and differentiated ways to support the business and vision of the organization. This includes a focus on driving large scale change in the areas of talent acquisition, employee & organization development, and reward.
Mesale is passionate about utilizing data and analytics to identify emerging trends and to drive meaningful talent and business strategy.

Mesale earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication from Western Michigan University and a Master of Public Administration in Human Resources Management from Clark Atlanta University. She earned her Six Sigma Greenbelt at Ford Motor Company where she launched her career in its Human Resources Fast Track program. When not working, Mesale enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
