Smile Brands Inc., one of the nation’s leading dental support organizations (DSO) providing business support services to more than 400 affiliated offices across 18 states, is pleased to announce its latest partnership with Dental Faculty Associates in Loma Linda, California.
Smile Brands will provide full-service administrative support to the practice, which includes purchasing, payroll, accounting, IT, billing, facilities management and marketing. Existing staff will remain in place and the business will continue to operate under the Dental Faculty Associates brand.
Doctors Gilbert and Brent Dupper, father and son, built one of the most successful practices in the Inland Empire. They’ve assembled a large and respected team of dentists, many of whom are current or alumni members of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry faculty, and provide full service general, preventative and restorative care, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and emergency services.
When it came time to consider securing the long term legacy of the practice they built, Dr. Brent Dupper did not immediately consider a DSO affiliation but was impressed by the cultural alignment of Smile Brands with his practice and decided the organization was the right fit. “We see a tremendous amount of upside from our affiliation with Smile Brands,” explains Dr. Dupper. “We will leverage their expertise and administrative support to streamline our operations while maintaining full control over our team, our clinical operations and our brand.
